I ran into Global Domains International from a very annoying pop-up ad that just wouldn't go away. Before closing the screen I noticed that internet marketing guru Scott Reese was personally endorsing this program. That got me to take a closer look.
The business is simple and has a very entertaining animated promotional movie.
The company was founded by Michael Reed and Alan Ezier in 1999. Global Domains International uses a network marketing recruiting/commission program to show people how to buy domain addresses and teach others to do the same. This is accomplished by sharing the company's animated movie.
The product that is being sold is a domain with the initials .WS. In other words, if you need to have a .COM behind your name like I do, this domain won't work for you. The domain cost is $10 a month or $120 a year and you can sign up for free for 7 days to try it all out.
Compared to a company like Go Daddy which charges $9.00 for any domain for a full year, Global Domain International is very expensive. Of course, money for commissions has to be created somewhere.
