You've probably seen the "Work at Home Doing Data Entry" website that's been all over the internet lately. Bold promises of making $25 as many times a day for doing Data Entry from you own home office. I'm not going to call this business a scam but I will say that it comes under the heading of "sneaky"
I bought this package after reading the long sales page. My thought was that this could be something that my wife could do from home in her spare time. I paid the $49 and received the online ebook instantly with all the included bonuses. These bonuses were giveaways that had been available for free on the net for years so there was no real value there at all.
After reading the directions I realized that all the user would be doing is signing up as a Clickbank affiliate and advertising different affiliate programs on Google and Yahoo. I already knew how competitive this arena was and the chances that you'd make more than your advertising costs was very, very slim. Here's the good part…
The Data Entry part of the business is actually entering the advertising copy into the Google and Yahoo online forms and submitting it to your account.(which you pay for) The $25 that you pocket is your Clickbank commission on the product sale that you advertised. See what I mean by sneaky?
Whoever thought of disguising this mundane task with the term Data Entry should win an award.
Unfortunately, thousands of these misleading courses are sold every hour to unsuspecting people who are looking for a way to make money online from home. Buyer Beware!
