You might have received a special invitation in the mail inviting you to a free internet marketing seminar in your area. I was very impressed with all the expense that had gone into the mailing I received. Someone was making a lot of money!
On the cover was a picture of a formal place setting with my name imprinted on the reserved sign on the table. My guest and I were invited to attend and receive a full dinner and a free business organizer. The whole package was said to be worth $120.
Good marketing…I felt special!
Everyone knows that the internet is where home businesses has the best chance of success. It only makes sense that the hotel seminar crowd would get involved and try to show you a turn-key way to have your piece of the internet pie.
I attended the Internet Marketing Conference seminar and was told that we would receive our dinner and free gift at the completion of the 90 minute conference. Basically what was being offered were replicated websites that contained various products for sale or online stores. The whole presentation was supposed to be fun, relaxed and informative, which it was.
Businesses like this are a dime a dozen. Making money selling products on the internet is not as easy they make it sound. I'm sure it won't surprise you to know that before you can make any money you have to know how to market your website and that means advertising.
It's sad to see companies that still insist on setting people up for failure like this. There are legitimate ways to make money on the internet. Internet Marketing Conference will show you the obvious way, but not the best way.
Also…my dinner was cold.
