I love Beef Jerky and have always found the price to be quite expensive. This low-fat, high protein snack can be found in any supermarket with quality that goes from bad to worse.
Jerky Direct is (you guessed it) a multi-level direct marketing company that has premium quality meat snacks as their one and only product.
The payplan is simple. You pay $12 a month and receive a half pound of Beef Jerky. For this same amount you receive your own replicated website (store) where you can start making commissions on your own sales and distributor signups. This compensation plan runs 7 levels deep.
Every new person on your first level makes you $2. In doing the math, you would need 50 new customers, each ordering Beef Jerky every month to make yourself a hundred dollars. The 5% and 20% commissions on retail sales would also add to this.
I find this whole idea quite ingenious and amusing at the same time. I would also have to say that I like what Jerky Direct is doing and I think everyone should join up and start eating Beef Jerky. (see what I mean by amusing)
In a world full of serious business opportunities, this one stands out as one that can actually be a lot of fun. I'm sure there are some people that are making good money at this but I suggest you don't quit your day job for this one.
